Established in 1999, the Taiwan Love and Hope Association is the first AIDS NGO in southern Taiwan. Our organization works to prevent HIV transmission among all people and families affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Taiwan through promoting gender-based human rights and community-based organizing.

Services and programs provided by Taiwan Love and Hope Association including:

1.Assistances of accessing medical care and treatment in healthcare facilities

2.Providing home visits, counseling, crisis intervention and aids for people withHIV/AIDS and HIV-affected families

3.Providing telephone counseling and web-based counseling

4.Providing Voluntary HIV testing and counseling

5.Offering continuing health education seminar and workshops

6.Promoting the AIDS Memorial Quilt Project

7.Establishing Outreach Programs

8.Maintaining AIDS informative website and distribution of newsletters

9.Training HIV/AIDS volunteers
